I saw this advertised on TV last night (while I was watching Alton Brown make home made green bean casserole, which I didn't even know existed!):
You just plop this down on a carpet spot, and if churns away on the stain until it disappears. Which is basically what we do with Lex, but this thing won't sass back. The SpotBot is also substantially less likely to stink up the room, and it will just sit there and take all of our carpet jokes. Of course, that last one won't be nearly as much fun without hearing her tried and true come back: "Shut Up."

Hi, I'm a friend of Samin's and stumbled upon your blog. Just wanted to let you know that I bought the SpotBot recently and am really disappointed with it. Don't waste your money.
