Smart people doing stupid things.
Cal > Oregon > Stanford > USC > Notre Dame > UCLA > Calthe transitive theory in college football does not compute
I've checked your equation for the transitive theory of football, and if you add the subscripts, I think it will start to make some sense:Cal (September) > Oregon > Stanford > USC > Notre Dame > UCLA > Cal (October)Since one of the universal laws of football is:Cal (September) > Cal (October)The Bears usually do well early in the season, but crush all of our hopes and dreams by mid-October. Would anyone settle for the Holiday bowl now?
Wes does make a good point. Except for the stunning loss to UCLA last year, Carroll's Trojans haven't lost a regular season game after mid-October.We're the opposites of each other - Cal starts out strong and then fades while USC starts slowly but turns it on at the end of the season.eg - Tedford's only win against Carroll came in late September. Every other game since the two have been coaching has come after mid-October.
